Revision
Revising papers is very difficult for me. When I am writing something I cinvinve myself that it is perfect. I know in my heart that it isn't. This revision project was very difficult, but at the same time, because it was required by the lecture seesion, it was very easy. When there is a mandatory due date for revision I find that I can revisae alot easier. When the process is left up to me, I usually am done with the paper after the first draft.

Barack Rocks
What I noticed most about the speech is how barack rarely used um. Especially in his little anecdote about the Ashley. the girl who worked for his staff. He also was so confident that it would have been really hard not to believe absolutely everything that he had to say.

Oops...
Dang, with all of the mid-term grades and tests and stuff, this completely slipped my mind. I turned it in on time for the lecture portion of class, but completely forgot to post it here.

Visual Rhetoric
First of all, I am not a crazy liberal who hates every move George Bush makes, but this picture brings up a discussion my 10th grade English teacher and my class had. The point of the discussion was "when the political leader dresses in military clothes, everyone should be scared." His examples extended from Hitler to Saddam Hussein. I'm not saying that we should put Bush in that category, but image has always reminded me of that discussion.

Unicef Photo Essays
Instead of just choosing one photo essay I chose this page. Watching these essays does seem alot like those commercials that attempt to guilt you into giving money or "adopting" the children. I chose these essays because they are done by UNICEF which is completely nonprofit. The page even has a link to a bunch of other photo essays about issues that are prevelant in the third world, like AIDS, water, and immunization. These essays do a good job of showing issues that we need to know about.

Grammer Problems
Commas are really not that hard to understand, but at the same time using them can be pretty confusing. The hardest part is figuring out when to use a comma and when to just end the sentence. It's easy to use commas when there is a conjunction or when there's multiples of something. The problem arises when a sentence seems to end seemingly too early. Should I have used a comma between the previous two sentence. I don't know, and that's the problem.
A great page for all around comma use is http://owl.english.purdue.edu/handouts/grammar/g_comma.html.
That is actually a website that I reference for my grammar needs and wants. I believe it's a reliable website because it appears to be designed officially for college students.
